^ that really just comes down to how well they've practiced for that question. you're not measuring how good their resume is but how good they can prepare for an interview
To be honest, these all just reward people that can think on their feet the best. If you're good at interviewing, it's super easy to manipulate your resume walk through to fit any variation or use one of the same three stories to fit any behavioral question. It's good to think on your feet (that correlates to being smart and well prepared), but I care about other stuff too.
I really like conceptual questions that make people concisely articulate complicated concepts. It's interesting watching someone synthesize and try to accurately convey complexity into interview answers.
I usually ask something like: "Why are you better than other candidates?" Really helpful to see if they have a specialty or if they're like all the rest.
1. Why do you want this job
2. Tell me a joke
I ask people to take me through their resume, but in the opposite order that most places do it (I ask them to start from college/early career). I get to see not only what experience they have, but also how concisely they can speak to it, and how well they can explain career evolution and increasing responsibilities over the years.

If they ask for last names it's an auto-ding
@MD, what's been your best response for #2?

Effron guys 🤦♂️
I agree, a lot of it comes down to the phrasing of the question. I ask it in more of a “tell me about your career” way and in less of a “rattle off your resume bullet points/walk me through your resume” way. I will also say that doing it in the reverse order of what most interviewers ask for throws some candidates off, so you get more of an organic answer.
The one question I'd like to ask is "How are you better than anyone else who was born into the same circumstances that you were?"
how well*
