Of course I am thankful for my family, my friends, and my health, but this holiday, I am also pretty damn thankful for a career that enables me to care for the people I love. Money doesn’t buy happiness, but it does buy a nice roof over our heads, food on the table, and a debt-free college education for my kids. Feeling grateful this day after Thanksgiving for what this sometime stressful, sometimes frustrating career has given me - the tradeoffs have been worth it.

I had my Walmart interview today and it went really well. And guess what? I got a rejection email.
I felt dizziness while working and fell down today.
I had to go to the doctor due to the anxiety and stress I was carrying since the last 2 months. It has affected my health.

How does a person change their mindset to be more positive? I feel like I’m meant for my job, but blame all my life problems on it….having no energy, being single at the age of 30, etc. and it seems like a never ending loop. I look for new jobs, realize I have a good job then am ok for a bit then start it all over again. When I’m off of work I’m fine and realize I have it pretty good. I have an offer to join a startup as an APM. The only downside is that the engineering team is located offshore in India.
