More salary with a comfortable change of pace to mix things up so I don’t get bored with the same daily routine? No contest
2 - I love the idea of traveling once per month and high base.
I used to travel every week and now nothing. It’s nice to have once a month travel

2. Travel once a week isn’t a big deal.
Bonuses aren’t guaranteed but base salary is. I think once a month travel is a nice way to get some free points without getting Sunday scaries
2 if the travel is *actually* once/mo. That doesn’t seem too difficult. Plus more money

#1. With bonus, ~ equals #2 on base. The $8k bonus on #2 is not worth not being remote.
It’s probably close to $1k a month net difference SC2.
What’s the 401k match?
Base is more important the bonus.
Where at?!
Go with MITRE
Leaning 2, but what about the rest of the month? If it is remote 75% and travel 25%, that's great. If it is in-office 75% and travel 25%, then it isnt so great amd may not be worth it.
rest of the month is full remote, no office.
Curious what role is this for and where? Going as a senior?

Travel once a month to where and for how long?

That’s actually really easy. Travel only one day and back to ATL? It’s a no brainer
Offer 2
With 1, You don’t know what you’re bonus will actually be. 10% is likely the range.
With offer 2, now that I know you’re talking about MITRE, the travel will likely be to an awesome place for an awesome reason.
