Hi all, I am working at Natwest Group RBS and I have recently applied for Product Manager Role(gurgaon) in Gartner. How much CTC I should ask and what is the general hike and bonus they give on yearly basis and can someone provide some insights on work life balance and leave policy?

Just here to say that you already are a badass mom!
Not sure if i want the job. I feel like I’m asking for trouble putting more work responsibilities on my plate when I’m also going to have more family responsibilities. I want to be the badass mom who’s a boss at work and can enjoy my family but is that actually realistic with babies this young? Am I setting myself up for a mental breakdown? Should i pump the brakes on my career and hope the opportunity is available in a few years instead ?
I’d ask what the expectation is. If you can’t be home at a decent hour and see your kids, I would wait. Your kids are only little once
Here’s what I would do: take the job/money and make my own hours. Often higher positions involve more autonomy and less stress.
@edelman thanks for making me cry!
Do you want the job? Do you have a supportive partner who will help out? Will the extra money allow you to have flexible childcare?
If you were already pregnant I'd say maybe pump the brakes. But you're not pregnant yet. Give it a year. See if you like it. If you're not crazy about it, figure out something else.
@OP I totally get your concerns and fears, but you can set boundaries for yourself, especially at that level. You will never know until you try it! It may be way better than you think.
Def take it. If you have to quit, you’ll have the title.
Does the new job require you to work there for a certain amount of time before you an receive maternity benefits? More money is always good. Personally I’d make the jump and once you’re there, make the schedule work.
Take it! Give it a year. It doesn’t have to be your forever job! But you can take the experience and that title with you... and you may love it and stay.
See if you can negotiate arriving and/or leaving at a certain time each day and WFH one day a week. Made all the difference for my family.
