This picture gives me evil chills. There’s always one like it every single year at Cannes. And there’s always layoffs happening right afterwards. I don’t know why there is not an employee rebellion against this type of behavior. If you’re gonna fire people and make them lose their house, pull their kids out of school, and stay up all night, crying, maybe you shouldn’t Spend six figures partying it up on agency employees dimes the same week.
While the executive team is partying it up at Cannes. 😮

Some clarity or a source would be great, especially since people at Ogilvy seem to be in the dark about this.

It’s been nearly every 2 weeks the past two months. They do several people at a time so they can spread it out rather than do a big hit of 100 people all at once. Across all departments & levels in NY, Chicago, & DC. In NY for the most part. And no one is allowed to talk about it.
The top brass keep their jobs while the people doing the work get laid off, thanks for that mate

They had to pay to send a bunch of CCOs and CDs to Cannes! That expense report is probably equal to a salary or two.
