They are putting conditions like give your full commitment to join then only we'll release offer letter. I am currently looking for work life balance with growth. Hopefully retired! I’ve been nursing for 36 years! The landscape has changed drastically and I don’t care to see where it goes in the next 15 years! 10 should be plenty for me!!
I can imagine!
I see myself far away from anything healthcare related. Hopefully before then.
I would do it part time. But would love a new opportunity to do something that is easy, fun
For sure Cindra! I took a one day a week housekeeping job for a while, just to do something other than nursing. It was kind of fun really, and hardly any stress whatsoever but, of course, it only paid $18/ hrs so it didn't last too long. Good luck to you!
I just left the OR after 24 years and started in Primary Care clinic. I hope to retire in about 7-8 years. I never thought I’d leave the OR. But the culture has become SO toxic that I had to for my own mental health.
I'm currently on NP program. Finishing up in less than 12 months. I can't wait.
As of right now, I do see myself in the same, if not a similar role. Always hard to say what could happen in the next few years, but no current plans for anything very different.
I'm looking at NP programs right now.
