It’s a 60 day notice period when you inevitability wish to leave.
A lot of that resonates with me. I personally say I don't have a dream job because I don't dream of working. I dream of living life, so I also only work to live which is the challenge with being ambitious and capable of achieving high level positions.
A lot to think about. I appreciate your insights.
Culture is great, depending on whether you enter a group that actually has fun people, which can be rare. Pay is least of competitors and is unfairly unbalanced across advisory and even within a service line, so you better get an outstanding salary when coming onboard because it will only get worse from there. What else do you want to know specifically?
Where are the fun people? 😂 I mean, I'm fun, but I do wonder if they'll try to get me to be a stick on the mud because "Director".
What do you think the issue is with pay? I'm surprised to hear it's not great even at that level.
I'd like to know how the interview process goes & how long it takes too if you have any insights.
