On the heels of the infamous “transactional employee” post: has anyone encountered other recruiters singing the same tune and offering lowball salaries? It is in recruiters’ interests to keep the agency, (not the employee) happy because the agency is far more likely to be a repeat customer. Recently a few recruiters have presented offers that are lower than my current salary because “agency X is a place to grow...” What gives?

Thoughts? This seems decent based on my research but couldn't find a ton of data points. What is the career trajectory/opportunity like is a Google CE? Opportunities to move to product later on or will I be heavily soloed within tech? How do refreshers work? For example at other tech companies I've heard only about 10% of a team might receive refreshers each year

What bonuses are expected to get paid out for FY22? There was a raise in July but no bonus, correct? Is it only equity awards in Nov? Or will there be an element of cash bonus?

Full time creatives who freelance: how do you get these freelance opportunities?

Currently working full time and have no intention of going fully freelance any time soon, but would love to know the best places/sites to look for these freelance opportunities that allow you to do your full-time responsibilities on top of some freelance work.
