AFS - if I do my self input on my FY22 goals and submit to manager for a review this week since my project ended, what do I do in May when I have a different project? Will the same fy22 form get submitted with me adding more self input to it or do I make a different copy of that original form and reconcile somehow?Accenture

Umm...I try not to give status to the client whenever possible....don't want to show them how far behind we are.
Connect is so fucking slow, I'd welcome any alternative.
Anyone complaining about connect obviously wasn't around for the dark days of auditing where we emailed Excel sheets back-and-forth. On large audits it used to be someone's full-time job just to manage the PBC list, and now the list manages it self.
Connect may be slow but it’s a great tool for tracking and managing client requests
I hate clients that will not re-name or zip selections with their uploads to connect. Even after explaining to them and how easy a singe upload can be. Ramble.
Similar for client requests? We just have a standard portal they can upload folders/files to
Suralink
Having a control sheet you can take from client to client so you can mark off when items are collected is revolutionary? No wonder there's so much whining on here about going over budget.
@ partner 1, as always the partner misinterprets what is being talked about without their hand being held. What’s revolutionary is that you have direct row by row linkage and the client is managing the list wit us the ability to see the progress of the list along the way
This is not our status. It is the pbc request list they owe us.
Ie. 12/31 trial balance, 12/31 bank recs, etc
That’s tax senior 1. That looks like it is very similar to smart sheets but for the accounting profession. Can I ask what firm you are in and if your firm uses it firmwide
We have this at Deloitte. Called Deloitte Connect. Has a website, automatic reminder emails, and an iPhone app
Thanks audit SM 1,pwc 2, and pwc3. Sounds like Deloitte uses some similar technology instead of going through a vendor.
PwC has come to and the Tax group also uses something call Tax Engagement Center. Clients can upload files and information for you on a specific task or deliverable... it’s good but laggy at times but works well when it does.
OP- PwC uses Connect as well, it's basically a glorified Sharepoint site for PBCs - includes due date aging charts, automated email reminders to assignees, ability to upload templates or PY documentation, etc. Like others have said, agree that Connect is slow ("we've heard you...") so apparently they are integrating it with Aura in June/July 2018, let's hope that helps improve the overall speed?!
