Parallon HCA Manager in Training role- HCA is the largest healthcare system in the country. They seem to have great benefits and people. Has anyone had experience with the Manager in Training role? Salary? I am currently with a home health company after finishing grad school and wonder if that might be a healthy move?

I worked from Parallon in the past. I had many friends/co-workers who were part of the manager in trainer program. It seemed to be a good program that allows you to move up at a quick rate. It all really comes down to which department you are in and who you report to. As for salary, my co workers never told me an exact number but I remember them complaining about it a good bit. I imagine it’s on the lower end.

I applied for a Patient Advocacy Manager role in Med City Dallas.

HCA does not pay well to being with and only gives 2% raises at the end of the year. Although for the past 2 years there has been no raises

like

2% is the standard annual raise. We didn’t get our annual raise in the summer of 2020 due to the pandemic, but it was reinstated and adjusted in October or November 2020, plus a (very small) one-time payment to make up for missed bonuses. Employees get a quarterly bonus of around $300 each time (amounts vary based on individual, department, and company performance) and leaders get an annual bonus instead at the end of the year (10% or 15%). We did receive the annual 2% raise in 2021. This is Parallon. I thought it was the same across all of HCA. I agree that base pay is usually low. For me the benefits somewhat make up for it.

Parallon employee here who works closely with executives. I think it’s a good move if you want a leadership position. I know senior leaders here invest a lot to develop future leaders through the MIT program. I’ve seen someone start as MIT and move to Manager, to Assistant Director, to Director, and now Regional Director in the last 5-6 years. One of the first MITs we had recently became AVP. I’ve also seen a few MITs leave before moving into a leadership role, but the vast majority stays and moves up. I don’t have any insight on salary.

Thank you for your time and elaboration.

Hi Everyone,

Need some inputs before making an important decision.
I have offer from Cognizant and they are promising that next quarter they will initiate my Canada visa. They are giving assurance when I spoke to them over call. Also, my current employer Accenture is also saying the same to retain me. Can I believe Cognizant? Also, Canada onsite is best in which company - Accenture or Cognizant. Please suggest based on your experience.

Thanks in advance!

It has been 3 weeks so far, the person I spoke to said HR should’ve sent me consent forms already, I’ve dug through my email and found nothing, I’ve reached out to HR as well but they won’t speak to me since I am not an employee. What do I do? I’m stuck in limbo.
