Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient

Outsource as much as you can financially. I am sure there are other strategies but taking some of those tasks off your plate will help some.

My wife go about 6 months off when having our kods.... So that was helpful. But when she was back to work, it was difficult. But my job flexibility allowed me to really take hold of a lot of the child duties to help out. After the second one... That became tougher, as her hours seemed to increase more and more. She would hardly see the kids and I was drowning trying to keep all afloat myself. And while she was up for partner, we decided a life outside of public accounting was a much better option. My wife stays at home and doesn’t have a job outside the home. Totally worth it in our opinion

Outsource as much as you can. I no longer do any landscaping and we have a cleaning lady twice a month
I took an industry job and we have hired help. My spouse is still in public.
My husband moved to internal audit at a large private company that's flexible and mostly 9-5. I stayed in public but am on a 75% schedule. Still feels impossible most days now that the kids are in a thousand activities.
If you can manage it financially and your firm allows go to a modified schedule. This allowed me to continue my career and balance family life.
