What is the salary of a Grade 2 Manager
Butters look kinda blean for the summer

Have my closing interview with Accenture next week. So far the Director and MD I have met with have both liked me and the recruiter has said that they have both given me a thumbs up and that the upcoming closing interview with the MD is just a conversation. From my research I’ve also read that it’s just a sanity check to make sure I’m not a nutcase. Of course anything can happen, but I’m expecting an offer. (Cont)

There are plenty of great accountants that don't have CPAs and there are plenty of terrible accountants with CPAs. Of course there are plenty of great accountants that are CPAs. Everyone has different challenges throughout their career. Some people struggle to pass the exam, some people struggle managing teams or have a hard time generating business. The point is there is generally something you can learn from everyone you work with in public. If nothing else, be thankful your manager isn't an a$$hole because there are plenty of those in public too.
Are you for real with that coffee comment? With that attitude you're not going to be managing anything but a Starbucks...and you'll be schlepping the coffee. The world is changing...get on board. Leave the arrogance at the station.
Someone’s an arrogant prick
You work at KPMG everyone looks down on you period.
My associate doesn’t have as many years of experience as I do. I look down on them
OP are you a new hire? You sound like a new hire.
I thought you had to have your CPA to be manager,
Tell that to all the Principals. What a fool you are lol
You mean you’re jealous of him bc he figured out a different way to success than all the CPA lemmings.
Some firms allow you to make manager without a CPA, there is no universal rule. Passing the exam only means you know how to study for long periods of time, I don't think it makes you any more qualified.
However, I also don't think you deserve to make manager if you couldn't figure out how to study for long periods of time.
I mean that’s kinda valid. Half way to partner and you are not even eligible for it from a regulatory perspective.
Well does he have a law degree? This is common in Tax. If you are at a big 4 I would expect him to have some type of designation if he made manager. I know in India they get away with lower certifications.
OP is a little b*tch who can’t maintain an adult conversation and chooses to peace out. Or is he on his way to get us all coffee?🤔
My guess is they’re tax and they’re an enrolled agent. While I agree being an EA doesn’t really compare to being a CPA your manager has been doing something right all along. Not respecting them will most likely only cause you issues in the long run.
Also, I agree with PwC 1 - you sound like a prick
Maybe he has PIMP
Ugggghhhhhhhhhh I could vomit.
Experience = passage of time. Experience shouldn’t suffice to be a manager. We need minimum standards here. The more experience you have the more time you had to make the CPA certification happen. Now, go grab me some coffee and I won’t fire you when I move up the ladder.
Yeah.. KPMG acting like a cool kid when they actually are dorks.. booo! 😂
Most of the people in my group aren’t CPAs. We are lawyers. And perfectly qualified to do our jobs.
