People from India on H-1B visa - if you got your first time visa stamp using dropbox at one of the locations other than where your appointment was - how long did it take for you to receive your passport?

I have an approved I140 from previous employer and current employer hasn’t started GC yet. Been on H1B since 10 years now, so if my new GC doesn’t start before my H1B is up for approval in 2023 cont.

Firm wants me to back pay last year FICA tax(Social Security and Medicare tax).
Last year I started working as F-1 and transition to H1b. Firm never withheld FICA tax.

Now they ask me to back pay last year FICA tax and then will send me W2c form.

The catch is I already file my tax without those FICA tax. Should I pay them and file tax amendment?
