I interviewed for Data Analyst role at EY, it went well and the job sounds great, but I'm a bit hesitant to leave PwC because I really like the firm and I'm just 8 months in my job as an associate at a subgroup of ITS that has some focus on technology and analytics but it's mostly tax compliance.
I do want to transition to data analytics but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go to another big 4, or maybe just look for a position in industry.
Any advice or similar experience?
NEED A PROPER SUGGESTION / GUIDANCE
I'm a fresher candidate, I'm currently working at Xoriant Solutions as a software engineer with 5LPA package. I got it through off campusing. I have got 2 more offers from college placement, first one is SENIOR ANALYST at Capgemini with 7.5LPA and second one is SOFTWARE DEVELOPER at Hitachi with 9 LPA.
Which company should i join as a fresher to have a proper growth or a good role in future ?
Any help regarding this would be highly appreciated.

Happy Monday fishies!!! Looking forward to a great week 💃🏼 Three job interviews, one asessment, and one is renegotiating a salary counter offer……I’m a bit nervous but feel confident and in control. I don’t feel like this often so I am going to embrace it 🤗 keep you posted! IQVIA and Syneos Health

Amazon or Workday.
Definitely not Deloitte
I’d say between Amazon and Workday. Amazon obv is the brand of the century. Workday is up and coming and in super high demand right now, so being a PM there could provide a valuable career trajectory long term. Honesty can’t go wrong either way.
Rising Star
I would probably pick Amazon

^ this. Definitely not Deloitte. Workaday is in CA. If you are close to CA, go for workaday. In all other cases Amazon in NYC.

Monitor Deloitte quite literally does not exist in the United States so idk about that one.
Rising Star
Brand exists with like 10 partners. It ESSENTIALLY does not exist. And I was part of “monitor” before I left.
Now this!! My friend u really need to provide more info on each of these roles, ur background and future aspirations to get any meaningful feedback from the community.
Do not come to Deloitte. Leadership and culture is terrible, people are leaving left and right, benefits are not good compared to tech companies
My last day was Friday 🥳🥳🥳
Amazon. Don’t come to Deloitte unless you really want to be done with your career
Definitely not Deloitte… coming into D (or infact any consulting I suppose) as lateral hire M is the most challenging position - you will never feel home, always be less favored compared to peers who grew within the firm, building network is like making a mountain.
Also with new not-so-frequent-travel model, Consulting perks are not like they used to be pre-covid. Tech Product companies are the near future - both Amazon & Workday are equally great - choose what offers you growth trajectory and your other preferences
Workday
Workday 1st. Amazon 2nd. Deloitte a distant 3rd.
Pro
Amazon
Workday based on WLB, Amazon if you prefer NYC
Definitely not the D here
Workday!!
Amazon or Workday. Both firms are cutting edge and they are growing like gangbusters.
Amazon offers opportunities to grow within the firm (in reality it’s a conglomerate like GE rather than a tech firm) and WD is in high demand.
Deloitte is a typical consulting firm and you already know what that is about.
Amazon
Amazon or Workday
Depends on where you are now and what you want. I would personally choose workday > Amazon if you’re ok with location and all other factors considered. Have heard too much about the negative aspects of Amazon (yes, there are exceptions based on team etc…) to make me ever feel comfortable going there and wanting to stay long(er) term.
Rising Star
Amazon nyc.
Pro
Work and life balance? Not Deloitte/Amazon…don’t know anything about WorkDay.
I’d choose Consulting to get the experience on the resume if you don’t already have it. Otherwise Amazon
