During my job search, I am getting a lot of recruiters asking for me to answer right to represent emails. These particular recruiters follow a same pattern and seem unprofessional. Shall I be aware and not sign these right to represents? Are they a scam? Or is it a cultural thing… can someone advise me, I’m based in the USA

I am actively looking for a change from Academia researcher to industry. I get job interviews in a big company. It has been in the 4 rounds for technical interviews talking to hiring manager, her peer, her boss. Yesterday was the 5th round talking to the HR director. I thought it was to negotiate salary. But it was just an conversation talking about who am I, career goals, questions etc. What is the point of this conversation? Will this impact the overall result? Anyone experienced this?

They have already given the offer to someone else, but they still want to bring me on board and they asked me what I would like to do. I am in the process of gathering more info, but it is tempting to ask about pivoting into product management. What would you do in this situation?

A company was pretty aggressively recruiting me until 4 interviews in — no movement. I haven’t heard back in a week and a half about next steps. Should I assume I won’t be moving forward any longer? I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available.
