What does this mean? Doesn’t it seem contradictory? This person I know has my best interests but they are confusing me with this.

What would you prefer:

Job 1: 85k at small boutique firm (3 attorneys). Standard benefits but no 401k. Semi-annual raises. No billable hour requirement and regular 40 hour week. Being groomed to be a partner on a 2-3 year track.

Job 2: 135k at large regional firm (200 attorneys) good benefits. 1900 billable hours requirement. Partner track is 6-8 years but not guaranteed.

I have two offers in hand. KPMG and Deloitte. CTC is almost same whereas variable is more in KPMG. I am inclined towards Deloitte India. But HR in KPMG told me that I won't be able to join KPMG India in future as I accepted their offer. I informed her within 2 weeks and didn't do anything for onboarding. I didn't ask to increase the amount or JB and I strongly believe I informed early so they can look for other candidates. Is this bluff? Any HR here to clarify

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. Does anyone regret joining a boutique consulting firm? I signed with a startup out of college (spring 2020) whose founding partners were all partners/Sr leaders at a few T2s. Our firm is super small (dozen FTEs) but does really good work (we charge premium rates and work super cool projects).
