Prior to Feb 2021, I would spend my days at work and come and study all night. I spent 3 years trying to tame the beast they call CPA. I was only fortunate to pass one (76). The frustrating part is that I didn’t do anything compared to the exams I failed.

Feb 2021, I burned myself out and left the field as well as the studying and lost credit.

I’m ready and I want to start studying again as well as go back into the field.

Any tips of suggestions would be extremely helpful.

Do you remember what areas you struggled in when you took the test the last time? I'd start by focusing on those, then mixing in reviews of the other stuff you knew but may have forgotten since you took your hiatus. Pace yourself so you have enough time to study but also balance having a personal life - it's so important! And if you can, get a study buddy or join a support group. You can do this!!! Good luck!

I work heavily in AWS and am looking to learn another cloud platform. I have zero knowledge of azure and gcp and would like input on which to learn. Azure would make sense since its the second largest in terms of market share, but GCP seems far more interesting and technically challenging with things like Kubernetes and BigQuery.

Anyone else work at a company that has a great pay and benefits, but ultimately dissatisfied because of the line of business? What are some companies in tech that are tackling interesting problems like in health care or climate?

Hi all!
Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. The first company I was at didn’t have a solid HR team so I don’t really count that. I feel like I’m ready to take on more responsibility and learn more. And of course make more money.

I have looked into getting SHRM certification. But should I go back to school and get my masters in Hr?
