PSA: if you are using Marcus hysa to save a down payment for a house I highly suggest not doing that. Almost missed several deadlines bc of their horrible wire process

Just transfer it a week before close to your primary bank. Takes a few days to clear. Then wire with your bank..

Not an issue - just a lack of prep on your end

“JuSt TrAnSfEr a WeEk BeFoRe” 😆

right, I’m sure OP never thought of that lol
The point here is it’s inconvenient when other accts don’t have that lag time.

ah? wire transfet are processed same day… i’ve done several from Marcus with no issues at all

Obviously not large amounts where your name isn’t on the other account!

I can take it financially, but wondering, If I absolutely needed to get out of buying it, what recourse do I have? Or could I go ahead, and refinance later (who knows rates at that time...)?

Who is still in denial about a housing correction? The Fed just made another .75% increase. Powell said they won’t stop until inflation is 2%.
