Hi fishies. I have a ton of interviews coming up soon including a case interview at EY within their Innovation and Experience Design practice for Digital Strategy Manager. I am super comfortable with CX, design thinking, etc which are the types of projects I would be working on BUT I am absolutely terrible in case interviews. I was hoping it would be based on CX or design but my understanding is there is some revenue component idk. Anyone have any insight? I would greatly greatly appreciate it!

If you know of a just a couple of examples, then it is likely those are the only examples that exist. These people likely had a long record of not getting staffed or meeting sales targets and previous warnings from management. Nobody gets let go from PwC without warnings and time to improve.
People on my team were let go yesterday and today, it's happening in other offices too. Reasons were performance history and low utilization. Those with decent utilization were let go because of performance reasons. Experienced staff and senior levels. Has happened at other offices in region too. This is really happening at EY. PwC, I didn't know until I saw this post.

EY1 what?!
A lot of people are leaving right now in general because recruiting season is in full force. Have you heard the concrete reason these people are leaving or what? I'm not receiving these emails, yes.
PwC fires people. Are you disputing the idea that these people had prior warnings from management or saying they got an email one day out of the blue that told them that they're out?
Here is my personal opinion: someone rated as a 3 with low utilization will never be let go without prior warning. Someone who has gotten a 4 on the other hand - a 4 serves as a warning. Without improvement, those are the ones being let go.
Only FS? What about first year hire, they cannot have much utility rate since all of the training, etc. it's not the them can decide the utility rate
Original poster- how do you know about more rounds to come?
It's not utilization - a lot of those laid off were staffed when they found out they were being laid off. I even know someone who started with me in August who has been staffed since training (a rarity) and is now gone
Also my buddy's coach got laid off and told him everything (like more rounds). Projected utilization for BCM in April is legit 30%
I need to know more- when is the next round? And selfishly- how the F am I supposed to staff the work I'm selling with no bench!!!
I've heard about this too, in all practices including advisory
What? What about new hire?
EY3, not new hires from what I've heard from friends in different offices.
@PwC 7 please staff me
Have you heard about Pwc tech erp Advisory side getting layoffs?
Wait EY1 which offices and which practice? What is happening 😰
Recession
& now we wait.
Is it really that bad out there for industry?
Is this only FS or even for Tech consulting
