Varies state by state. It's not required everywhere, so that drives it. I don't think it's standard firm policy where not required by law.

they gave me my balance on a ADP debit card kinda thing

Weird

Pwc 2 were you caught up in layoffs or left on your own if you don't mind?

I was laid off

I’m a new associate to a T&E group, partner goes away on vacation and leaves me with a 706 to review and sign. The family is very wealthy. Decedent married for 60 years. Partner says it’s “just a DSUE election, decedent was ill for years, no assets.” Provides no records. Not even an admission the decedent owned a toothbrush. So I looked up the decedent’s home - it’s a joint asset. Partner was “surprised”, and still insists “no other assets”. I found file references to art and antiques.

I recently got two job offers and I’m struggling to decide what I should do. The first is for an AE position with Salesforce and the other is also for an AE position but with a smaller tech start up. Both are comparable salary and vacation time. What I’m struggling/worried about is the potential complexity of selling a product like Salesforce as well the “grind culture” as a sale person I’ve heard old employees talk about. If anyone has any insight I’d love to hear from you!

Hi,
I graduated last year and was working with my university until last month. I extended my STEM OPT with my university before July 5th (first year OPT expiry). I got a new opportunity right after submitting my application & I notified my change in employer (submitted updated I-20 & I-983).
Last Friday, I got another opportunity that is way better than the current one and I don't want to miss. My STEM OPT application is still under review. Would it be okay if I change my employer again. Thanks!
