PwC India Hi Folks, I left my stable job at Deloitte USI and moved to Germany for a better job. But my mom had a major health issue and I'm planning to travel back to India to support her as I'm a single child. I'm working in one of the top organisation in Germany with a base of 90k euro and looking for good opportunities in India. Looking for some book recommendations :)
Hi fishies. I have a ton of interviews coming up soon including a case interview at EY within their Innovation and Experience Design practice for Digital Strategy Manager. I am super comfortable with CX, design thinking, etc which are the types of projects I would be working on BUT I am absolutely terrible in case interviews. I was hoping it would be based on CX or design but my understanding is there is some revenue component idk. Anyone have any insight? I would greatly greatly appreciate it!

Pwc5....we've already had people promoted post-integration during our mid year from Associate to SA....they got the level set....I'll never lie to you
It's one of the hardest promotions to go directly from Associate to Senior Associate at S& because the firm is essentially saying that you don't need to get a MBA but they pay you like you have one. The jump in base pay is 47% from A3 to SA1 (100K to 147K). The levels are set. No bands.
Well there you have it. People giving you less than cap to your range
Low end of the senior associate band is around 75k. So you'll be bumped to around that most likely.
How is that possible. Incoming associates received 75k this year
High end of senior for S1 band?
We just hired three associates at 59k PWC 5. Four SA promotees bumped to 76k
Those Associates got shafted then. I have two on my team at 75k. I'm an EA at 85k, with a likely promotion
Don't forget to consider how many years you have been in that role as well as your LoS , city and prior years of experience. All are major factors PwC 5
Only 1 year as an EA. 2 years prior consulting experience from another big 4.
Can't speak to larger PWC at all
S&2, that 147k was for post-MBA hires
No it wasn't
My friend post-MBA received that offer. I highly doubt and EA will jump to that. I'll tune back in next month when my friend gets promoted from S&
A1 = 75, A2 = 89, don't know A3, SA1 = 147, SA2 = 152, SA3 = 158.....all set...perfect model because no one is supposed to game the system and prevents juniors from making more than seniors and removes a huge distraction in my opinion. I thought I heard PWC was moving to this "level-set" model and dropping bands
Wait so... A strat& SA makes 147 base and a PwC SA makes 100 base? That variance seems extreme even for strategy.
Post-MBA PwC SAs were offered 135k
So I'm guessing there may be a move closer to that, maybe not the first SA level, but likely the second?
my guess would be 85 k. but i make 83 k in nyc im an EA as well. does this mean 85 + geographical increase (1.1)? 90+ k would be sweet.
Same with me pwc1 - EA, going for promo next cycle (2017). Currently at 85k and Im pretty sure I'm not going to get a raise at all. Queue the job hunt?
my demand manager said ill be okay. i dont know wtf that even means...
Ugh does that mean not fired? It's a low standard these days......
