Question about staffing. For projects that have no signature but are very likely to execute (80-90%), is your organization willing to risk staffing and kick the project off? (I.e pipeline projects).

Yes, but how much is allowed depends on larger questions. Established relationships and trust with the client? How is the overall financial health of the company/department?

Yes but I’m at a large firm with a fairly decent bench.

That’s super helpful, thank you! We pipelined projects at a smaller consultancy I was part of but my current (larger) org has been resistant

Project leadership is telling teams that they need to fly in the week of thanksgiving and possible Christmas as well. The assumption is that we fly home the day prior to the actual holiday. 😂
