The FINRA exams aren’t a big deal, if a company wants to hire you they will. The time and money to get the series 7 is negligible
I think the fact that you’re willing and want to will help you. A lot of people don’t want to have to test. It’s not a big deal for most companies that require it, they’ll give you time and understand if you didn’t need it in your previous firm. It doesn’t make sense for your firm to carry it if you don’t need it.
This is a repeat of my previous answer
You need the 7 to get the job, and you need the job to get the 7. It's BS but you having your 66 shows initiative. Big firms are more likely to sponsor you though
They’ll give you 90 days post hire to get the 7. Don’t fret
Just pay to get your 7. It’s not that expensive at all
Bummer. Sorry. But I think having the other series exams under your belt would look good! 🤷♂️
Cant you do the SIE without sponsorship?
Yes. Sign up now. Take the test Monday. Good luck!
