Question (I think I know the answer to this): If my spouse and I have used fertility benefits through the Pathways to Parenthood under my UHC plan and I switch over to a BCBS plan this year, will the $50K reset for the BCBS plan or does the lifetime max of $50K apply regardless of what health plan we have?

It's a lifetime maximum (doesn't matter which plan you are on). I believe this is also the case if you were to ever leave and re-join. The $50k does not reset unfortunately.

This ⬆️ - also the 50k applies even if you and your spouse work for EY. It's 50k total, not 50k per employee 😞

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?

I am wanting to start the adoption process. I reached out to pathways to parenthood for information first from my personal email. I got a response within 30 min asking me to email them back from my work email. I did so and it has now been 3 days with no response. Is there any other way of contacting them?
