I think it’s a great move. Look at it this way - best case it springboards your career. Worst case you learn some things which you can use. You’re young, do it now because your promotions, raises, etc compound.
I would do the CFA rather than waiting 5 more years and arriving at the same conclusion!

Do the CFA now while alot is fresh in your mind. Masters is useless unless you are changing careers.

Getting a CFA would be your best bet right now. It will give you a little boost in this industry. Best of luck!
Do it now while you are young. As you get older, these are harder to pursue. Extra certifications always help.
