Question regarding tax saving -
I had bought medical insurance for my my parents and I on 17 Feb 2022 with 38K premium. Can I add this deduction in FY22-23 tax declaration.
PS - I have to show proof of payment by Jan 2023 and the next premium won't be paid before Feb. So how do I use this insurance for tax savings?

I would like to transfer my career to Healthcare Data Analytics. I’m gaining my data analytics certification by the ending of November. Love how BS credit score is. Got my score up to 800 last month only to go on vacation so my credit utilization went up to 8% due to the increased spending and my score dropped 35 points because I didn’t immediately pay the balance after charging the purchases. I always pay my balance in full each month and have never missed a payment, how is 8% credit utilization determined to be that big of a risk that my score got immediately wrecked, I don’t understand

I’ve always been a big saver minimum 15% to maxing out my 401k since I graduated college. I’m married to someone who thinks 6% is enough and likes $$$ cars. Other than the cars, they dont really spend money. For the married 🐠, how do you have the conversation with them that what they are doing isn’t enough? I try to guide them and say you want the $$$ cars but the salary you have won’t get there and you’re going to have to find a job that gets them the salary…. Then the fight starts.

I have 8.9 years of tech writing experience. How much CTC should I be expecting when I join a new company. My current CTC is 20L pa (18.75 (fixed) + 1.75 (variable)).

Can you name a firm (preferably NY office) that lets its associates work from a different country with no issues? The mid-size firm I’m currently at has been very flexible during covid but I’m looking to change firm (biglaw). Since my family is abroad I find it extremely valuable to be able to do this (I did this even before covid for a couple of weeks, twice a year). I was doing my own investment research when I came across multiple financial management websites suggesting really bad mutual funds.

Current FD RD rate is between 5.5% to 6.5% for 12 to 18 months. These websites are suggesting "better alternatives" of mutual funds with return rate of 3-4% for the same duration.

If this is the case of misinformation for these simple investment tools, we can't imagine how much misinformation is there for more complicated options
