Hi all
Few months back, I accepted @pwc india's offer but didn't join.
Now I was referred for @pwc US but as I was applying for the job, the portal shows previous application with status as offer accepted.
Will pwc consider me again?
Does anyone have any idea on this?
Has someone accepted the offer but didn't join and later joined again after some months?
Please let me know
Any inputs will be helpful
Thanks!

I’m told when/if an offer is made, and when/if the candidate accepts the offer. If the firm doesn’t move forward and make an offer, I don’t hear anything. If the candidate doesn’t accept the offer I don’t hear anything, but it’s easy to tell because HR doesn’t send an acceptance email.
Honestly, it’s fairly rare for candidates to not accept the offer. I’ve interviewed dozens of candidates who have had offers made and probably 90% accept.
I generally don't find out they were hired until they show up to work
Aha. So it’s more for the recruiters to analyse then.
I get an email when a candidate I’ve interviewed has received an offer, and another if they accept.
Sometimes it’s a little disappointing if they don’t accept, or don’t get an offer, but that’s just the way hiring works. No one job or company is perfect for everyone, even if I think it’s a great place to work — and if someone hears something in the interview that gives them pause or gets a better offer, I’d rather they take it than join and be miserable.
That’s good to know. You seem to be in a company where they keep you informed. I would want to know as well.
There is no way to tell that the offer took too long, perhaps delayed by the recruitment team and they accepted another one as the other company’s recruitment team was much faster.
I feel that my recruitment team is shocking but being left in dark about what’s happening after I interviewed someone is the worst.
I have wasted hours interviewing people who were brilliant but didn’t join as it took months for our recruitment process.

The boutique I work for brings all the interveners together to make a final decision. We then let people know the final outcome.
Don’t track ‘wasted time’ but have set up a gated process that keeps the largest number of people assessing a candidate focused on the high probability cases.

Well, our sourcing process needs work. I see a lot of duds but save the rest of the people involved from wasting their time.
I get no info. I've seen people resign before I find out they got an offer and accepted. In fairness, nothing is stopping me from asking for the info, but there is no guarantee I would get it.
