It's been just 2 months that I am working as a Manager in my company. But I'm really confused.
I was working vey hard and dedicated for past two years. But instead of giving a good raise, thay gave me a Position. I do really love this position and my work. But because of the poor salary, I don't know how much longer I'll be working here.

Hi! I’m currently CoS to the CEO for a PE backed healthcare company. I currently make $140K + $25K bonus. I was CoS for 1.5 year at a nonprofit before joining this company, and have been at my current company for 1.5 years for a total of 3 years of CoS experience. I’m up for a raise this month, and curious what some of you are making for ballpark? I'm not in sales per se but I manage my company's largest wholesale account ($150 million per/yr account). It's a great company, awesome culture, good benefits, flexibility, but the pay is not great ($60K/yr). All the pros outweighed the mediocre pay, but now with inflation rising, my paycheck isn't going as far and I'm having a really hard time trying to figure out if I should start looking elsewhere or if I should ask my boss for a raise.

Recently joined a project that’s been in flight for long time. Onboarding hasn’t been great, not sure who my Point of contact is, where we are in the process (since they started such a long time ago and the SoW is outdated by at least 2 years), what the objectives are for this phase of work. Manager sort of just says things that suggests I should know, which deters me from asking Qs. They recently came across as a bit annoyed when I’d ask a few Qs. Not sure if they fee the onboarding decks…tbc

Does anyone know where to get some of top consulting books used or low cost (physical copies)? Stuff like the 4S method, pyramid principle and McKinsey way comes to mind, but would like to get copies at a lower cost if possible.
