Reached theoretical financial freedom (4% of networth covers 120% of my yearly spending)
What should I do?
-Motivation to grind at BCG is not here anymore and honestly the experience here was underwhelming (~1y as a C, lateralled from other firm)
-Still too risky to open own lifestyle business
-Option to exit to industry for a few years at a 9-6 job?
-Option to do some side hustles?

Anything I should consider when making my decision? Any risks I haven't foreseen?

Thanks!

How can we assess this?

If I were you, I would exit to industry ASAP. You can make around same TC (possibly more in some industries) and work 30% less, if not even better. It may not be 9-6 always, some times you’ll work 10-12hr days, but you will make way more on an hourly rate than here with better balance and quality of life. FWIW, I was also a lateral hire, have had an equally underwhelming experience with BCG (e.g. culture, team environment, type of work, growth / development, etc.) and am looking for other opportunities.

like

Doesn’t BCG contribute about 30% or more on 401? Could that be a motivation. We don’t get such a high contribution from company.

BCG contributes 10% to 401k. Certainly more than most other companies, but by no means should be a major consideration in a decision like this.

Hello everyone.
Hope you're all doing good.
I appeared for the interview for KPMG GS for the role of Associate Consultant.
So far there has been an online assessment, round 1of interview with assistant manager, round 2 of interview with the Manager.

Are there gonna be more rounds of interview..? If not, what is expected timeline they take to make the final decision..?

Thanks in advance.
