I want to setup monthly recurring investments in index funds with a long term return perspective. Looking to diversify into 7-8 funds - Any recommendations?

Anyone have situational depression? Can’t stop beating myself up over a decision a year ago. Basically missed out on a massive amount of money. I know this seems trite and i never even cared thatt much about money before this year.

So many other good things happened to me this year - got married, got a puppy, moved etc, and yet the one thing i keep returning to is this decision as though i ruined my life. Ironically the only thing ruining my life is my outlook and yet i just can’t stop.

I got a decent deal on a small 1 bed in a luxury building (hell’s kitc). Should I do a 12 month lease or 24m?

Got the rent negotiated to under 3k + free amenities for a year (gym, pool, etc.). I’m afraid rent will atleast go back to the original price (+5%) and then some. The building has some sort of rent control but that’s predicted to go away in less than 1 year as per the lease. The legal rent limit is way higher.

1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I made a couple errors at a new job. An important document to be distributed had wrong information on it, which was proofread by 2 other people. Then a couple of typos in emails, the person micromanaging me told me to send out but I didn’t fix the errors. Failed to meet a deadline but completed 95%. When to sell at a loss?
