Deloitte experienced hires, who all received written offers and in process of visa/ onboarding, have you heard back anything about hiring freeze? Or recruiter asked you to delay joining date?
My visa got submitted couple of days back and waiting for decision. When I reached out to recruiter to give her an update and mentioned once there’s decision will discuss on the start date before putting my 2 weeks, she mentioned “Yes, we should talk before you put notice” - Am I overthinking? Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

That's a strong offer for 1 YOE. You may have skills beyond that, but that is very hard to prove without more experience.
Pro
You’ve only been working for a year lol that’s a really high offer for that. And yea, YOE matters more in most companies.
Overpaid
Hmm i need to start looking then. I have more experience than you and I got offered less.
I don’t think it’s cool that the recruiter did that and I’d be mad. But, skills with no/little work experience are skills in a vacuum. Applying your skills in the work environment, delivering products, working in teams etc. are how you grow and gain practical experience that becomes more valuable.

It could be that he was assessed at a lower level after he went through the interview.
I can almost guarantee your skill set isn’t worth 125k a year with 1 yoe my guy don’t be upset over that offer
Lol for 1YoE I don’t blame them
1 YOE and you’re still getting 120k TC at the end of the day. That’s within the range you asked. Plus there’s a possibility you might get bonuses throughout the year. That’s a solid offer imo
With YOE you gain skills that one can’t learn in a book, but in theory your skills and experience should tie together . Also, are you federal ? If so, that’s a great offer. I wish I was making 115 one year out of undergrad. My only suggest would be FANg, which the base won’t be as high; but you should be able to get a good amount of RSUs.
Rising Star
This is a very strong offer for 1 year of experience I started at 70k 3 years ago bro. I only got to 100 now
That's more than just a generous offer. Specially in Virginia.
They're are people with 5 years of experience in other fields making this.
Do you only have one year experience as a data scientist? Other work experience at a consulting company? Also, what city? HCOL?
Bruh, you’re 1 YOE lol
Rising Star
You have 1 year of experience. Also, I highly doubt you’re going to notice that 10K difference throughout the year.

This is the most money Accenture will offer someone with 1 YOE. How can you have any skills with no experience?
Yes. Most companies do care more about YOE.
I started at 61k with a masters degree in business analytics/data science. 4.5 years later, I’m at 126k LCOL
how to handle this money.. comes next! Bruhh! see if you can process some scientific method to conclude.
The math looks right to me.
115k is pretty good for 1 YOE. Also are they hiring?
Thank you everyone ! I was able to negotiate for a higher bonus looking forward to starting
