Deloitte is going to bump you 25%? Also, promo is never guaranteed.
How is a 25% raise a lateral move?
How long from now is the possible promotion and what would your likely raise be? Also, how likely is the promotion?
Check to see when you get green light. Idk if you’ll get a 25% promo raise though, so you just got to make a decision if being an SC at D with a lower salary is worth it
I wouldn’t do it. If you get SC you’ll probably be closer to 110-120, plus the bonuses increase at that level for next year. I’d stay, get the promo and then use that for a much bigger raise ~150+ in a year or so
This is the move if you're a below average performer or you think the comp loss is worth the stability.
If you are below average, you're likely getting close to your wage ceiling. If you're not, then you'd take the promo elsewhere and get promoted again in 2 years, then you can bounce again for another 25%. It's better to lateral at the beginning of the tenure cycle than to lateral in the middle of it, unless you're confident that you're already performing at the next level and can get a promo within a year.
SCs at Deloitte are at $110k - $120k?? This is just the low end of the band right?
We have super wide bands - I’m at 125 as a C. Exp hires and MBAs are paid more
What is % hike for SC to M at Deloitte Advisory (non MBA)? Any info on salary bands would be great!
I would push for both more salary and signing bonus. So so politely, reiterating you’re excited for the role and what’s the worst that can happen?
