Recently accepted a new position as a General Manager for a competitor, I’m supposed to start training in 4 days. However I have not received any information for the location or any basic information such as a schedule. When I reach out to the recruiter and the Regional they are a bit unreliable. Is this an early red flag? I’m successful and respected in my current company, however was attracted to the extra money and growth opportunities. Is this a sign to back out of this offer?

Any pointers for interview process of Staff Engineer role for python developer having 8 years of experience? How many rounds of interviews? Will there be coding test? Any help would be much appreciated.

I've been job hunting for a while now, and have yet to secure anything. I've made it through to the writing test a few times but haven't succeeded. I know I have the skill, but I struggle to even get an interview at most places. I'm pretty new out of college, but I'm in Atlanta and I feel like there aren't tons of entry-level positions in the area. Any tips for a new professional? Not sure how to level up my approach to job hunting, but I feel like there's always something I can do.

How do you deal with an HR that ghosts you after 3 interviews that went really well? I landed an offer at Deloitte as a sr. consultant, and then negotiated for a managerial role. I was told all interviewers were really happy with me so she would be glad to arrange a reevaluation for the new role(I was interviewed by 2 Sr. Managers & an MD for Sr. Consultant role and will have to take another round with a partner for the managerial position). I tried following up thrice after, no response.

Have you thought about why PM interview experience is totally different than the actual PM job ? PM interview goes typically with current domain, design xyz for abc, guesstimate; whereas in actual job you have ‘n’ no. of constraints to build, leadership priority , sufficient time to think etc. What are your thoughts?

I am only 4 months into being a surgical coordinator. I love the position itself however I am struggling to adapt into my new work environment. My position puts me in a place where I need to interact with my new coworkers but they are not as welcoming as I expected. There is also another surgical coordinator however I have come to find from other staff that there is a long history of her running other staff away and not fully training other surgical coordinator staff properly. I was interviewed for a major tech player in the hospitality industry, had 2 interviews which for the first one the recruiter was late, and didn't confirm the interview while I emaild her to make sure I do have an interview. When she attended she said that there was no point of responding my email as we are meeting anyway. Later on I had 2nd interview with the hiring manager. After 45 minutes she said they will let me know...

2 months later and I am still waiting...

I had a job interview for a role that I really want. The hiring manager scheduled me for an interview and did not show up. Emailed me an hour later stating that he got super busy and couldn’t attend, and would like to reschedule. This is a major red flag, but I can’t help but feel that I am missing out since this role pays 50% over what I currently make. Should I let the recruiter know? What’s your take on this?
