SD43 on my 7 inch wrist. I’m a big guy, just skinny wrists, so I think it works. I wear it to work a lot, just not to shop floor visits and the like.
Deep Sea is too large for me.
I hear it sits high and may not fit under a collar. Plan to buy online

SD43 slips comfortably under my dress shirt cuffs. On my custom shirts, I ask for a slightly larger left cuff, but even off the rack works well. Deepsea is a different beast, those 2mm extra thickness really make a difference.
Thanks BCG1 that’s helpful. That’s a beautiful Sea Dweller with the gold accents, haven’t seen that before. This is what I am leaning towards.

You’re welcome, and thank you! Go for it, I love the SD43 in Steel as well!

I personally find the Deepsea and SeaDweller43 far too large, both in terms of comfort on my wrist and in terms of overwhelming the bracelet — pretty much all of the Rolex sport models use essentially the same bracelet tapering down to 18mm at the clasp; I think that’s too small for a 44mm watch.
If you’re interested in something that’s not a Submariner, there was a tremendous SeaDweller model that only stuck around for a few years called the 116600 SeaDweller 4000. It’s in a 40mm case, but slightly chunkier with a HE valve, no date mag (which I personally think is an important part of the SeaDweller history) and the ceramic bezel with minute marks all the way around.

That’s a gorgeous watch
The Sea-Dweller and the Deep-Sea are both hefty boys. Are you an actual diver? If not, I am not sure what the purpose is other than wanting an even heftier Submariner.
If you want a dive watch that isn’t a Submariner, try something outside of Rolex: Omega, Breguet, Blancpain, JLC all make interesting dive watches.
Cool. My take, having thought about this too much, is that the appeal of Rolex is that they are actually quite elegant watches in thickness and case shape despite being sporty and sturdy. Omega watches, for example, are often several mm thicker and are therefore less well-proportioned.
The Sea-Dweller and Deep-Sea are less well-proportioned, though, and therefore less attractive to me.
Yachtmaster 40??
I love the rose gold one but can’t afford that one
