You won't get that salary until you make it to manager (higher end or manager) so I will take it
pretty much this. You can always leave for anothrer company to get a promotion. unless you want to spend the rest of your working career at this company which I doubt you want to do that
Take and go back if you get bored/miss it, and use your existing salary as negotiating point
Take it
Take it! I would take that in a heartbeat
Take it. I’m getting $105k offers for a Sr. FP&A in a HCOL city.
Holy damn. Take it. You can look where you are in 2 years. If your happy stay if you want more money you can jump for a higher title and get a huge bump.
That’s a nice percentage increase. 60%? saw a thread earlier that most people aim for 25-40
Yeah that’s a huge bump. I’d take it
If path to manager is longer. Just take it and don't even look back
Seems like its definitely worth the switch. In LCOL, new managers in audit don't even make 100k, so that salary would take you 4-5years to reach by staying where u are
Yeah that’s definitely something I considered. I was talking with my coach about it and he said I would likely be making more now than most of the M2s in the office.
Pwc will always take you back if you change your mind. What do you have to lose?
Yes. I’m normally a huge advocate of staying until manager, but with these circumstances it makes no sense.
switch to accounting advisory for a year or two and you will see better opportunities, also you could jump to at least 80-90K now.
Take it. Your experience as Sr FA will be more valuable let along the pay increase
Do you work to be a manager or do you work to make money?
The assumption is that working to be a manager = potentially making more money
What’s your new title, how are the benefits and how slow of a promotion timeline are we talking about?
Senior Financial Analyst, bonus pool is 10-15% depending company performance. As far as promotion, I was just told during the interview that the path to manager/director is “a bit longer” than what I would typically see in public.
Relativity - path to manager at big 4 is fairly quick compared to industry.
This a no brainer. Take the role
