Stroopwafel
Hahahahaha. Southwest.
Stick with Delta and connect
Also, I'm sorry for your loss
After Delta, SW is the shit
I arrive at midnight weekly and it's a direct flight 😞 I'd stick with delta
Status match to both and then test each out to see what you like the best.
Thank you. It actually is really hard. I thought I would be more ok with this.
Is southwest a possibility?
I'd stay w delta too. Any change will only delay your 1M status 😏
One vote for United. However, I flew DTW - SLC last week and Delta had stroopwafels as a comfort +/first snack.
Thanks SC1!
No SW is not an option, nothing against it but it just isn't an option. Ideally would prefer United but was curious to see what people found to be the best.
What is your new city pair?
Can't give away my home airport. It'll just give me away but flying to Chicago every week. United and American are my only direct options.
Honestly, it's a serious option D3 but getting home before 11:30 pm on Thursday's would be so nice. If I do a status match ill just commit I have enough other delta flights this year I'll at least hit platinum but man will that hurt from diamond.
11:30pm is a real late arrival time though. Will you be able to maintain diamond if you stick with it?
Yes will be able to maintain diamond if I stick with connections, easily. It is probably worth it. I have the "bandwidth" that when I need to get home early I can just switch.
fly united--chicago is a hub so you'll have better flight options. also, united is much more reliable than american, but overlooks more often than Delta. If you're flying home one night and ok being delayed you can easily score a $400 travel voucher.
