120k is extremely doable
Rising Star
Idk about extremely doable. Was told that 120k is the very max that they can do for a Senior role (with expectation of going up for M in the first year). Either they super lowballed me, or 120k really is the max. Either way, I didn’t go for the offer.
Is it doable? Sure. But you better be bringing quite a bit of experience; you are at the bottom of manager salary range.
In consulting? I’d be surprised if significant less, maybe in LCOL.
Just curious many YOE is this?
For 2 yoe, yes you’ll probably be turned down and given a more realistic range
Does anyone have answers to this for today's economy? I have 3YOE and am getting promoted this year to SA. The SAs that have been hired recently are making upwards of $100k but everything I have been told is I will be around $90k (same practice, same office, same team, same YOE).
I make $75k base now, is $100k out of the question given what my peers are making? If they are willing to hire others in my exact scenario for +$100k but not give an internal member that wants to remain loyal the same salary, what are we doing here? Likely will have to leave if I know others with my same resume are making that much more than me just because the time of hire...
Any advice?
