Senior manager wants everyone on the team to open a skype chat session and shares screen with him for the day so he can monitor what everybody is doing. Is it ok to ask him send this request in writing?

I had interviewed with PwC India for Business Analyst role at Pune location, my both Manager round and Client round went well. However I have still not received any call/ offer from HR. I did call the HR she told me that they have not heard back from the Client.
Any idea how much time does the HR can take if they want to give offer.
My last working day is on this Friday and will have to join other company on Monday if dnt received offer from PwC. Please guide me.

Are all big 4s in India the same? Moved from US to India and the work in one of the Big4s for consulting is so bad!! What are some of your “schooling the client” moments?

Those of you who have left consulting for Program/Project Management at tech companies (not Product), what do you think of the switch? Have heard anecdotally that work can be uninteresting and career progression suspect, but seems like a very chill, high paying exit. Does this differ greatly if it is technical PM? Would love to hear thoughts.

Other than MAANG, which companies are good for the data scientists in India (both product and service)? Good in terms of project complexity, rigor of analytical approach, scale of problems, implementation opportunities, usage of latest tech stack, innovation, mlops best practices etc.

Things are apparently going to get better after a client will be leaving, I’ll get to work on different brands but I am feeling pretty burnt out from the agency I’m at. Will new clients help? Or should I look elsewhere. Been at the agency almost 3 years, I feel like I need to switch things up for my sanity.

One of my direct reports has asked about going part time. They currently manage special reports in a bi-weekly publication, working closely with sales, freelance writers, and an internal designer. Job duties are primarily project management and editing/proofreading. As the first read on articles, they need to have an understanding of the material (business/regulation). Has anyone had experience with job sharing in this type of a role?

I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started. I’ve since created, implemented, and trained our dept. on project mgmt for clients and am trying to convince the owner to apply those principles to our internal jobs. They are resistant because they just want the work to be done and don’t “want to keep spending money on internal jobs”. I’m confused because we’re doing the work either way and “spending” in labor/resources.

What do hiring managers want to hear when they ask "What's your process?" because I don't think I have one.

And when I explain something from Lean UX or something then apparently that's too cookie cutter.

I've done 26 interviews in the last month and I half and I've gotten no where 🥲

I had a job interview for a role that I really want. The hiring manager scheduled me for an interview and did not show up. Emailed me an hour later stating that he got super busy and couldn’t attend, and would like to reschedule. This is a major red flag, but I can’t help but feel that I am missing out since this role pays 50% over what I currently make. Should I let the recruiter know? What’s your take on this?

Me : Awesome so no travel required at all?

“Well you need to come to the office 3 times a week and the other two you will be popping into potential customers on site”

Me: So not remote at all…?

“No we’re remote, you get two days traveling not in the office”

After you are stealth laid off, other than job search, what do you do? I assume they won’t give you work and even if they do, you can politely decline? How do you feel about you are not progressing anymore and seeing other people progressing in their career? I have no intention to make partner, but still feel a bit stuck not doing that much.
