McKinsey & Company I did my final round with McKinsey today, and I I received a rejection call from the partner today. However, he said I did really great and wants to keep in touch with me. He also mentioned that I should reapply in 6 months. Does anyone have any similar experience? Do I have a better chance if I reapply next time?McKinsey & Company

Hi DI folks, how were the hikes last year??
Anyone stopping JT this week?
How much yearly hike can one expect at Société Générale ?
"Depends on performance" seems to be a very vague answer.
Can someone please elaborate on a better answer.
Also, Can someone shed some light on promotions?
Is there any policy, like you have to work for X years to be eligible for promotion etc.
Thanks in advance.

Doesn’t hurt to do it if there’s even a remote chance you’ll consider the position. If not going to consider at all then why waste your time or theirs

are always good for the experience, I don’t wanna spend too much energy going back and forth between other companies and interviews
Assuming you are interviewing for multiple roles and you get multiple offers, it is typically easier to negotiate a salary with another offer on the table
