Hold your horses.... These days python node fe kotlin niche ds algo....
Do you know people are here, fetching double money on mainframe and .net than angular and data science.
Many techs popped up, ruled, vanished, upgraded but mainframe is still there computing trillions of transactions daily.
And you have no idea of C realm.
Java is here and will be here post your/mine retirement, your statements are like making comments on Virat or dhoni while seating on couch.
I am not saying Java is best, my point is Java is vastly used, can land you in hot market at any given time and please note with competative pay cheques even in Google.
Pro
I read your whole comment and it made sense at some things and it didn't at some and it was very well written but i would like to correct you on one thing and that is neither dhoni nor Kohli ..it is KL Rahul who is best 😉😇
Well this chain is to get suggestion and know from other experience thanks for letting me know your thoughts though helpful
Both pros and cons, Java spring umbrella can get you interview calls from any company any time from Google to gogli, with competative pay cheques.
Most startups are working on python and node js , I see java with consultancy only soon kotlin might replace it too
Google needs ds algo design language is barely a criteria infact fe ppl also can work their angular is created by google itself
A FE developer over here, getting paid better is actually more about which organisation you're working for and how good you are. I want to switch to any back end tech stack so that I actually don't hit a salary ceiling, also the demand for good Back end developer is always more. There are actually very few companies who pay similar salary to FE and usually Back End using any language or framework is paid more.
You can add on your skills with additional tech stack, no need to switch to different one unless you don't see any benefit in market..
You can think about Full stack, Java architect, Technical management and so on..
