Hi fishes,
I am planning a switch so was going through some salary data for a software engineer. My ex-senior manager recommended me a website: Growceed.com which helped me a lot in getting clarification about a lot of things but I am in doubt whether the average salaries of software engineer mentioned on Growceed.com really that much in top MNC companies.
Cheers to the weekend!

I used Zoillow and was really happy with the experience. At the time, the listing was totally free, we got a ton of well qualified applications and they even provided background checks (paid by applicant) and pre-written lease agreements and the ability to process rent payments. I’m not sure if all those features are still available for free - at the time it seemed like they were newly launched and might have been on promotion.
(In case it matters: Los Angeles, SFH, rent approx $6k/mo)
You do not have to use a realtor but there are things to consider. First and foremost, ensure you don’t break any fair housing laws and whatever platform you chose to vet the persons do check them carefully. Also, check your lease and ensure it includes all the needed addendums. Good luck!

May depend on your area but I think you can do it yourself. Where is the rental?
M1 - assuming you put the time and attention to it and make sure you comply with all applicable laws, I'd argue that you are likely to be more reliable at vetting than a realtor. I have made the decision on realtor or not based primarily on whether I have the time to commit to leasing it and vetting myself and whether I have a realtor I trust in the area. Where to list is very location specific - find out where similar properties in your area are listed online.

Listing on Zillow and Apartments.com will get you a lot of good candidates, but MLS may bring you more. You can always start with the first two, then expand if you don’t feel the candidate pool is strong enough.
