Sidley is being trashed and laughed at across the nation (and on ATL), I hope all good lawyers at sidley started accepting those recruiter calls that have dramatically picked up in the last 2 weeks (of course this doesn’t apply to the those near partnership).

Edit* so there seems to be a battle of misinformation on ATL with associates and partners/HR saying each other is lying about comp. For the firm to comment they must be very embarrassed.

I realized recently that I can turn my “super associate” persona at any time. I had it off during covid when my kids needed me and got a bad review. So now it’s back on. I just finished a big jury trial with a senior partner (SP). There were co-parties w/separate counsel. SP did a few parts but went rogue and did things that were offensive/risky/bad for client. It became clear that SP is not performing like SP used to and may be a liability. Do I tell someone at my firm? Don’t want to offend SP or cause drama, but I’m concerned.
