When our little guy started daycare, they had a schedule they shared with us before starting, so the weeks leading up to that date, we could try our best to be on the same nap(s) schedules. It was rough for the first week but ours adapted pretty fast.
Same, daycare kind of had a “schedule” (not rigid) then our son soon aligned with. We kept similar schedule on weekends if able. Allow some time for adjusting, but he’ll settle in.
My kids were too distracted in the infant room but slept longer hours 2+ as soon as they were in the older rooms. But I see some kids sleep great. I would prepare for the first 2 weeks to be less feedings and sleeping during the transition. Don’t worry they’ll make up for it after daycare during this time.
Both my kids slept so well at night once daycare got going! Super tired after a long day of play. The nap schedule takes a while to adjust to, but they should get into the rhythm pretty soon. Good luck!!
My son slept way better when he started day are, they wore him out! Also they have us submit a schedule so they can cater to his needs. We update as it changes, he's 12mo now.
