Bain & Company Is it truly easier to get in a smaller MBB office?
Have heard a lot for different opinions on these. The logic is that it’s easier because there is a lot of supply in cities like NY, Chicago and SF, but the counter argument is that the offices with less supply are also way smaller and have a lot less demand.

Mehhhh had he not insinuated women make less because they are biologically predisposed to not work as hard I would say chill. But that was crazy. Male here btw.
Proved his point.
It's generally acceptable to openly denigrate the dominant group, so yes. There are multiple cases of that in the recent past, particularly within higher education.
@ATK1 So a black dude is getting away with writing that? 👀 how? Lol. No one is getting a pass for writing that.
I know plenty of Google engineers with strange views they blog about from Trump not being the president to believing in aliens. They are engineers, that is just part of it. Why not just say, he is wrong, Google management does not believe this, here is what we do believe, we hope he grows and learns.
Saida Grundy at BU comes immediately to mind bc of my familiarity with that situation. I don't know if sharing 10 more examples is going to have any impact on you or the conversation in this echo chamber though.
Understandable, generally speaking you're not going to get away with stuff like that if you are male or not a minority.
Give me some examples lol. We need "receipts" as the young people say.
I think he was fired for leaking the internal documents not the actual manifesto so I don't think it proved his point of an echo chamber
Um p1 the fuck? Just no --- sad you are in management
I read it. It was all over the place. And he said a couple things that definitely should have been omitted if he wants to be taken seriously. But he probably didn't know this would get as much publicity as it did. I don't know if he /should/ have been fired but I'm not surprised that he was. Companies don't have to be tolerant of all views, especially if those in charge don't agree with those views.
Google writer James Damore is a white dude not a black dude btw
Here's a more recent case, an explicit don't hire white men message

He will likely get paid out in some settlement but it won't be publicly disclosed.
D1. Interesting. source ?
Yeaaah nah. He has to go. Those are problematic, deeply sexist views. Not even getting into the racist shit he said. The implications there are EEOC cases waiting to happen.
Did anyone actually read it? Feel like defending the mediocrity of the document is silly. At least if it was better sourced with more data, it would have been respectable. But it was literally filled with stereotypes.
Oh and where the hell does gender fit into politics and where does politics fit into work!? Lol
