Jumping to another type of consulting just to move to banking doesn’t make sense. Also B4 M&A doesn’t really get you any closer.
It might be expensive but MBA is the best and most feasible option. BB I Banks even recruit at T15 schools so you should have a good shot if you interview well. Besides, if you go to banking you’ll have no issue paying off your loans very quickly.

It’s not worth it. If you want to do banking at some point, do it now and take the hit in title… pay will catch up quickly enough.
What about PE ops? You get some finance in there
