So I did a case study for EY consulting and totally bombed it. It was outside my professional skill set and I spent a lot of time googling stuff. I didn't even actually finish it. So of course I've gotten the rejection email and I'm wondering - should I ask them what the answers should have been so I can figure out exactly where I went wrong (and gain new skills) or is it a lost cause?

Who knew interviews are a whole different process on its own. Very exhausting, answering lots of questions and thinking. I’m completely done with 2022 interviews. These interviews are just mhmmmm.

My first lateral associate interview is coming up. Aside from the obvious questions (Why this firm? Why do you want to leave your old firm? And asking about resume experiences), is there anything I should be prepared to answer? Has anyone been stumped by a lateral interview question?

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Also, I have an idea of what I should be compensated in this type of role, but any insights on how they pay compared to others would be helpful. My past roles have been such that I do a lot of marketing projects, tasks etc. but I’m not a specialist. I’m worried if I use this terminology I won’t even be considered for a role. Thank you

1. When I fill out my job experience, do I need to include the last ten years or every job I’ve had? I don’t have anything to hide, but I especially in my late teen years I was a job hopper.
2. I have worked seasonally in retail to make ends meet. Do I need to put this on my work experience when applying?

Can anyone let me know how easy it is to apply to a consulting firm in Dubai directly coming from London? I am currently working at a T2 strategy firm in London and my partner and I want to relocate in ~1.5 years. My firm does not have an office in Dubai whilst my partners firm does. Is it possible to apply straight (rather than moving laterally in London, waiting a few years then transferring?) interested in MBB views too. (I would have roughly 2.5 YOE by then)
