Hello 🦈s,
Role: SAP ABAP
Current: 8 LPA
I am having offer from LTI for 10.5 Fixed & 1 Mouritech for 12 LPA Fixed.
I have also cleared PwC India interview & HR has told me that they can give me 10.5 as Fixed (Before 12 offer). I have not yet received the offer letter.
Now my question is will PwC consider this offer for the re-negotiation? Or will they not release the offer letter itself?
Also what should be my ask for a SAP ABAP Developer with experience of 3.3 Years?
Thanks in Advance 🙏

Walk...
I would not be thrilled about this and would question how HR is communicating to you. To be clear you haven't had an offer yet, if you still have an interview. The job probably has a range. Based on experience you are falling lower in salary. On the plus side you are in the running, and it seems that you are moving through the process. If it comes to an official offer ask for more. Do a little negotiating.
That was also my thought. I think I know the exact range, but it seems weird to me how they are being so clear in what that range is. I appreciate that openness, but it also seems weird that they are telling me where I am in that range
It seems weird that you have ANY offer before interviews are even complete.
I also found this weird. It seemed like the negotiation started right when the first interview was wrapping up
Me personally, I’d check the normal salary band for your area and experience, and if it fits within what they’re now offering vs what you want then I’d stick with them. If you’re really interested in the role of course
Walk
Agree, walk.
What field is it? How big of a percent is the drop? What level you are interviewing for? I imagine you could pick up quickly whatever field you are lacking.
But as others said this is a red flag. They know there is a lot of competition out there for jobs and they are taking advantage of that.
I would see what the final offer is, know your worth, negotiate if you truly want to work there. Keep interviewing at other places.
Thank you VP! It is for an assistant manager role. The drop was 10% so it kind of struck me as an initial red flag, but I have also had many interviews at other agencies, this is just the agency that I have been most interest in given their client focus.
I would not be happy about this. Still, go through the remaining round. If the final offer doesn't make sense, stick to your guns. They'll mostly offer higher.
