I am sorry, is this LinkedIn or some dating blog?

Hey everyone! My team and I just launched our Kickstarter page for our company called Skape. We are an on-demand landscaping and snowplowing app to be used by both homeowners and landscapers. Below is a link to our Kickstarter page.
Any support whether a pledge or sharing our page with family and friends would mean the world to us! Thank you in advance! ALSO IF ANYONE HAS ANY CONNECTIONS TO VC’S/ANGEL INVESTORS THAT WOULD BE INTERESTED IN US PLEASE MESSAGE ME.

Who wants to join EY? I can be a "friend."
Better yet, who wants to be a "friend" so I can get out of EY?
Who cares? The firm is paying the$ either way.
Anyone at Uncle D want to be a friend to me?
This thread turned fast😂. It's not my friends asking me to join their firm but rather me asking if they want to refer me and split the bonus
I.e. When they get the referral bonus of say $6k they give me 1-2k and they keep the rest, which probably splits the money pretty evenly because they paid the taxes. Would HR or a firm look down on this practice?
True enough. Just didn't know if there was some legal mumbo jumbo about kickbacks.
Splitting referral fees happen all the time. After the firm pays it out, it's yours to do whatever. And if your friend wants to give you some, you've got a good friend.
Get a signed bonus and then you are both happy. No sharing required.
I would say do it. I did it before worked for everyone.
Why not?
Just realize that the "friend" may only care obit their short term financial gain and may not really be recommending the best thing for your career. I've got a "friend" who is just dying to refer me to PwC for the referral bonus, even though I am happy at my current firm and make more than her.
@EY 2 want to work for Moss Adams?
