Hi
I have a current CTC of 6.6 and Mastercard is offering 8.9 (including variable ) . I also have an offer from infosys of 10 ( including variable). Which one should I pick considering work life balance and appraisal. My entire doubt is that will they bring me on market rate after appraisals as currently they are not offering very good hike.

I am currently interviewing at TikTok for the Content Partnerships Lead role. Can anyone share some insight into the salary bands in the Sub-Saharan African market? Should I benchmark with the global rates?
Any tips and experiences interviewing in this region are also welcome - and highly appreciated! :)

What? We don't typically recruit from other Big 4...
What?
^Debatable. We recruit from plenty of non top 7 schools. I went to UNC! I know plenty of UVA, Michigan, UT people as well.
^Yup. Apparently they only recruited from K and D Strategy. A little confused about that.
Well, go tell that to the other Bain guy/gal then.
Depends. Keep in mind that if you're a strong candidate and good fit, there's a place for you here.
This is for undergrad hiring, but every year there's a number of recruits that have experience at places like Accenture, EY, Deloitte or Oliver Wyman. They get recruited primarily on basis of their university (i.e. often core target), and not on basis of their work experience. They usually start over in tenure as a fresh grad with no work experience.
Found the post. That's probably just for that person's office in terms of where he's seen folks lateral from (note - this is fairly atypical).
Everyone still considers Big 4 to include pwc and ey.
^ You are proactive sir/ma'am 👌🏾👍🏿🙌🏾👏🏿
The person later clarified that they were in Northern Europe. You are probably in the US.
^ I'm Northern Europe as well and we do have a few hires from EY and PwC. Seems to be an office specific quirk or statistical outlier
Seems that MBB and Boutique hire from top 7 universities first, (high GPA/test score) and if you have exp from big 4 that's ok. Then they hire experienced folks that otherwise would have fit into the top 7 university recruiting cycle but didn't apply or get selected from school, (huge GPA/Test) and if they're big 4 ok. And sometimes a one off school with exceptional GPA and Test score, and if Big 4 that's ok. Point is they don't target/poach Big 4, they simply won't exclude Big 4 if the candidate meets their focused criteria
...though to be fair probably 1/3 of my associate colleagues are Harvard/Yale/Stanford
K1, where the he'll did you get that from?? 😂 Too many of my friends are not too 7 but are Bain and BCG.
*top 7
Not saying they won't, just saying it's a deductive approach to manage the high volume of exceptionally high caliber candidates. 2 buckets - 1. University hire. 2. Exp hire. Both use same approach. Start at univ brands, then at metrics, then off brands with strong metrics, and with room to hire only 1% of applicants, Big 4 is not a driver
