so i’ve been freelancing and was talking about going staff until covid hit and they paused hiring. so i took a job elsewhere, lower pay, making graphics for social media. i’m prioritizing stability since i support my parents. but if you were me, what would be your plan? i was a little bummed by the role, i don’t mind production work but i was kind of in talks for art director and yeah, would it be bad to leave my new job in 4 months or so supposedly when things get better?

I made the switch from editorial producing to more agency producing and I feel lost. Is there a resource where I can freshen up on producing lingo, more specifically the business side of things?

My last job didn't have nearly as many steps or procedures to go through, even for sponcon. I'm given briefs & some next steps but still feel like I'm missing puzzle pieces. I'm freelancing so I feel like I have a ticking time bomb on when I can figure it all out.

This is an extremely difficult position, but I bring not only a preference to work the hours they need but the experience and credentials to qualify for the upper range of the salary (RN, MSN, CHPN, 5 years hospice experience). I asked for the range and he gave the range then immediately stated that I would qualify for mid range. I wanted to share that I am in my first job as ui/ux expert and I am the only ux/ui person in the team. I am expected to take care of entire research and design of the product. It becomes very overwhelming as the product that I am working on is in a early phase and I am expected to think about ui as well as ux and also design entire app on my own.There is no user interview or user testing happening as my project manager thinks it can be done after product is launched.
